Town seeking input on recreation, culture and leisure services

The Town of St. Marys wants to hear from you. The municipality is currently in the process of drafting a Recreation, Culture and Leisure Services Master Plan Update and is looking for feedback on the types of facilities, services and programs that are required to meet local needs.

Arts and culture in the spotlight at 2024 Stonetown Heritage Festival

This year's Heritage Festival, taking place from July 12 to 14, will offer numerous chances to explore creativity and connect with local history.

The restored heritage Riverwalk Commons building (84 Water St. S.) will host ‘The Artists at Riverwalk Commons' from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 13.The art show and sale will highlight Peter Rice, showcasing his techniques and impressive sculptures available for purchase, and debuting his latest collection of "Quiet Reflections" art cards.

Town Hall open to the public following renovations

St. Marys Town Hall has reopened to the public following a renovation on the building’s first floor. 

A full remodel of the space was completed, including an expansion to Council Chambers, the installation of new technology, and the addition of new washroom facilities.

The public will have an opportunity to see the space at a future open house; details will be shared as they become available.

Town Hall’s regular operating hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The following staff...

Section of Egan Avenue to be closed June 6 from 4:00 to 9:00 pm

A section of Egan Ave. from Peel St. N to King St. N will be closed from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 6, 2024, for the Holy Name Warrior Will Fun Fair.

In the case of inclement weather, the event will be moved to the Pyramid Recreation Centre (317 James St. S) and Egan Ave. will remain open.
