St. Marys Town Council consists of the Mayor and six Councillors, including the Deputy Mayor.
Council meets in Council Chambers, located in the upper level of Town Hall, on a regular schedule. They meet to adopt recommendations from the Strategic Priorities Committee, enact by-laws and adopt resolutions related to Town business. The Procedural By-Law governs all regular and special meetings. Council welcomes public engagement and encourages citizens to ask about how they can speak at council meetings when concerns arise.

Code of Conduct
The Town of St. Marys has a Code of Conduct that establishes ethical guidelines for members of Council and appointed members of committees and boards of Council. The Code of Conduct complements federal and provincial legislation and helps to ensure that all members share a common basis for acceptable coduct.
Integrity Commissioner
