After a two-year hiatus, the popular St. Marys Museum seminar series returns this fall with two engaging evening presentations.
On Thursday, October 20, 2022, at 7:00 p.m., Dayna Prest will discuss LGBTQ+ history and sense of place in the area around St. Marys. The seminar coincides with LGBTQ+ History Month in Canada, an ideal time to learn more about these important stories in our community.

The Town of St. Marys is encouraging charitable, non-profit and volunteer organizations, sports groups and service clubs to apply to its Community Grant Program. Eligible applicants could receive up to $5,000 cash or $2,000 of in-kind funding for their project, event, or initiative.
Past grant recipients have included the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame, Giving Tuesday, St. Marys Minor Soccer and Basketball, the United Way Perth-Huron, the St. Marys Memorial Hospital, and many others.

Disruption
On Tuesday, October 4, 2022, a contractor will be conducting a drone survey on the roof of Town Hall in preparation for upcoming repairs.
For the safety of pedestrians, portions of the sidewalk will be closed while the survey is being done.
The closure will begin at 7:30 a.m. and will include the section of sidewalk between the cenotaph and the Queen St./Church St. intersection.
Once the work is complete in that area, the closure will move to the sidewalk between the Queen St./Church...

Please note that Brock Street South will be closed from Queen Street East to Jones Street East from September 28 at 7:00 a.m. to September 30 at 5:00 p.m. for construction.

Wellington Street North will be closed starting September 28, 2022 at 7:00 a.m. from Queen Street East to Parkview Drive and will remain closed until November 25 at 7:00 p.m. as part of Phase 3 of the ongoing Wellington Street Reconstruction project.
