The Town of St. Marys is asking residents to participate in a navigation study for its new website. The online exercise tests the structure of the site to ensure information is easy to find.
The study takes about 8 to 10 minutes to complete and is available at www.townofstmarys.com/navigation. Participants will be asked to find a series of items from a list of links. For example, a user may be asked to find a copy of the Town’s seasonal swim schedule or zoning by-law.

When it comes to individuals willing to go the extra mile for others, St. Marys has them in spades.
At its meeting last week, Town Council recognized six residents for their selfless deeds as part of its “Strong as Stone” program. The program allows people to nominate those whose volunteer acts benefit the community.

Last weekend, the St. Marys Fire Department practiced still water rescue techniques at the St. Marys Quarry. They used specialized Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), ropes, poles, and a stokes litter basket to simulate water rescue scenarios.
