The St. Marys Public Library will soon be on the move. Starting on Monday, August 27, 2018, library services will be temporarily relocated to the End Zone on the second floor of the Pyramid Recreation Centre. The move is being made to accommodate a carpet and paint renovation that is taking place in the library building.

Summer concert series features local favourites and new talent

Back by popular demand, the St. Marys Museum will be hosting its seventh annual Melodies at the Museum summer concert series during the month of August. Every Wednesday evening from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. a different musical performance will take place outdoors at the performing arts stage in Cadzow Park. With five Wednesdays in August this year, there are five concerts to look forward to in the coming month!

Sections of the Queen and Church Street sidewalks, Town Hall and the library garden walkway will be temporarily closed on Friday, July 13, 2018 to accommodate work being done on the Town Hall and library windows.

The areas will be closed intermittently, beginning with the library garden walkway (near the cenotaph) at 7:30 a.m. The work in this area should be complete before the library opens at 10:30 a.m.

St. Marys YMCA members can now swim in Town of St. Marys pools for free

Effective immediately, Stratford-Perth Family YMCA members will be able to swim at the Aquatics Centre or St. Marys Quarry for free.

YMCA members simply need to show their membership cards to get free access to either pool.

The permanent partnership comes after a trial promotion was offered this spring as part of the Town’s Recreation and Leisure Services Master Plan implementation.
