St. George Street North at Queen Street is closed until Wednesday, October 30 for open excavation.  St. George Street North houses can be accessed from Timms Lane.

Sidewalk and parking stall closure in front of 138/140/142 Queen St.

Up to three parking stalls and a portion of sidewalk will be closed in front of 138, 140 and 142 Queen Street beginning Monday, October 28 while crews work on the exterior of the building.

Local business owner and registered yoga teacher Allie Mills is bringing yoga for toddlers and preteens to the Pyramid Recreation Centre. Mills is the owner of Forever Growing Children's Fashions, which buys and sells gently worn children’s clothing. Each year, the Friendship Centre’s St. Marys Craft Show draws hundreds of local and area shoppers looking for one-of-a-kind, hand-made items. This year’s show will take place at the Pyramid Recreation Centre on Saturday, November 2 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Certain trains to be replaced with buses during track maintenance

Due to CN completing track maintenance, VIA Rail trains 85 (1:33 p.m. to London), 87 (8:23 p.m. to London) and 88 (8:41 p.m. to Toronto) will be replaced with buses on the following Saturdays:

  • October 19
  • November 2
  • November 16
  • November 30

Trains 84 (8:16 a.m. to Toronto), 85 (1:33 p.m. to London) and 88 (8:41 p.m. to Toronto) will also be replaced with buses on the following Sundays:

  • October 20
  • November 3
  • November 17
  • December 1
