The Town of St. Marys is currently drafting its 2024 budget – and it wants residents to participate in the process. The municipality is offering ratepayers several opportunities to weigh in over the next few months.

Ban ensures safe and effective snow removal during winter season
The Town of St. Marys is reminding residents of its overnight winter parking ban, which will come into effect on November 1, 2023, and will remain in place until April 30, 2024. The ban prohibits on-street parking on any municipal roads and municipal parking lots between the hours of 2:00 and 6:00 a.m.

Adult Learning Programs of Perth is assuring residents that it will continue to offer GED preparation and testing until 2024 in response to upcoming changes to the program.

New feature aims to reduce stigma through education

Donations to fundraising campaign encouraged
Thanks to a group of dedicated volunteers and the support of those near and far, construction on the Rotary All Wheels Park is set to begin this fall.
Last year, former Royal Family nanny Jean Rowcliffe partnered with teens Quinn and Sully Bolton to launch a fundraising campaign to revamp and expand the skate park. The group has since secured $100,000 from the St. Marys Rotary Club, along with donations from supporters across the globe.
