Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame Strategic Master Plan - Future Vision

On February 9, 2016 representatives from the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum (CBHFM) attended Committee of the Whole to present their future vision for a new museum complex. To support the new vision, the CBHFM is requesting that the Town provide a one-time capital contribution of $550,000 towards the construction of the new project, plus annual operating budget support in the amount of $150,000 per year for the operation of the museum.

Queen St. Reconstruction Update

On January 26, 2016, Bruce Grant and Darren Alexander from BM Ross & Associates presented a status update on the Queen Street Reconstruction project to Council. This was a mid-design check-in to get further direction on a number of outstanding design items.
Council decided:
- Sidewalk grading will be compliant with AODA standards, with various exceptions as provided in the Act to allow for the unique topography in St. Marys.
