Citing its economic benefits, noting its legality and similarity to other regulated items, and doing so with the support of the Stratford Police Service, St. Marys Town Council unanimously voted to opt in and allow cannabis retail stores in St. Marys on Tuesday night.

Thanks to a grant from the Enbridge Safe Community program, the St. Marys Fire Department will soon be able to purchase a new, heavy lift air rescue bag system as well as smoke and carbon dioxide alarms.

It has come to our attention that there have recently been door-to-door water or water filter sales people in town who may be indicating or implying affiliation with the Town. Please note that the Town of St. Marys has not retained and is not affiliated with any company going door to door related to water or water filters.
