Pop-ups planned for March 22, July 26, and October 25, 2024
On March 22, July 26 and October 25, 2024, Service Canada will be setting up shop in the St. Marys Public Library. The federal agency is running pop-up events at the library to help connect residents with services that are not typically available in town.

The St. Marys Fire Department is pleased to announce Owen Wrigley as its Firefighter of the Month for March.
Owen became a firefighter in 2022, after completing his co-op placement with the department the previous year. He attended Lambton College to achieve his Firefighter Level I & II, Hazmat Awareness and Operation certificates.
Owen is a certified lifeguard which made him a prime candidate to become a member of the Fire Department’s swift water/ice rescue “Go Team”.

Event is an opportunity to learn about local housing and homelessness supports
The Community Housing Consultation that was planned for February 15 has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 20, 2024, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Pyramid Recreation Centre.
The event - which is being jointly hosted by the Town of St. Marys and City of Stratford - is an opportunity for residents to learn about local efforts around housing and homelessness.

The Pyramid Recreation Centre pool is undergoing significant upgrades. The Aquatics Centre has been closed to the public since November 11, 2024, to accommodate renovations to the space. The project involves installing a new HVAC unit and exhaust systems to improve air quality. Repairs are also being made to any parts of the Aquatics Centre that have experienced wear and tear.
Due to unexpected construction delays and supply chain issues, the renovation work is now expected to extend the closure until July 2025.
