At a special meeting on Wednesday, December 21, members of Town of St. Marys Council voted to deny a request for funding from the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum (CBHFM). The organization was seeking a grant from the Town to support a 6.2 million dollar expansion of its current site into a museum campus.

On Tuesday, December 13, members of Town of St. Marys Council held a special meeting to discuss the 2017 draft municipal budget. The meeting was the first in a series of four, with the remaining sessions scheduled for January 2017.

Draft 2017 budget available on the Town’s website and at the Municipal Operations Centre
Town of St. Marys Council will be holding special meetings on the following dates to review the 2017 Municipal Budget:
Dates: Tuesday, December 13, 2016; Tuesday, January 10, 2017; Tuesday, January 17, 2017; and Tuesday, January 31, 2017
Time: 9:00 a.m., with the exception of January 31, which is at 6:00 p.m.

The Board and Staff of the Town of St. Marys Public Library are happy to announce that a Library Space and Service Needs Study has been completed. The study was fully funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation. The results of the study are being presented to the Town of St. Marys Council at its November 8th regular session.

Please be advised that the Monday, November 7 Planning Advisory Committee meeting has been re-located from the Municipal Operations Centre, 408 James Street South to the End Zone in the upper level of the Pyramid Recreation Centre (PRC), 317 James Street South. Signage will be posted at the PRC directing attendees to the End Zone Room.
