Planning a backyard campfire or other type of open fire?
By-Law Number 17 of 2012 stipulates that a permit is required for any open fires within the Town of St. Marys. Anyone contravening the by-law could be convicted and liable to the penalties set out in the Provincial Offences Act. Getting a permit

The St. Marys Museum is stepping into the past for its fourth annual Roaring Twenties Garden Party. The event is happening on Sunday, July 10 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., on the heels of the Stonetown Heritage Festival. Local band, The Halftones, will provide live musical entertainment at 1:00 p.m. on the Museum’s picturesque front porch.

Survey available until July 13 – Focus groups on July 18 and 19
The St. Marys Public Library is undergoing a large space and service needs study funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation. As part of the study, the library is asking St. Marys and Perth South residents to complete a survey about the current space and programs, as well as ideas for future development. ST. MARYS, ON – On Tuesday April 12, 2016 St. Marys Town Council officially appointed the Town’s new Director of Emergency Services/Fire Chief. Mayor Strathdee and the Council of the Town of St Marys are very pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Richard Anderson to this position.
