Special Meeting of Council – 2022 Final Budget Deliberations

St. Marys Town Council is holding a Special Meeting of Council on Tuesday, January 18, 2022, beginning at 9:00 a.m. The meeting will mark the end of Town Council's budget deliberations. It will be held virtually and will be live streamed to the Town’s YouTube channel. The agenda will be available on the Town website on Friday, January 14.

A draft version of the 2022 Municipal Budget is available at townofstmarys.com/budget.

St. Marys Fire Department donates boots to Firefighters Without Borders Canada

The St. Marys Fire Department has donated a truckload of firefighter boots to Firefighters Without Borders Canada (FWB Canada). Twenty-one pairs in total are being donated to fire service organizations in need.

Captain Dale Robinson retires from the St. Marys Fire Department  

Captain Dale Robinson has retired after serving on the St. Marys Fire Department for 32 years. The retirement was effective January 3, 2022.

Robinson began his career with the St. Marys Fire Department as a firefighter in January 1990.  He was promoted to Fire Captain in June of 2012. Robinson was a dedicated firefighter who could be counted on to respond to any incident he could, day or night.

During the holiday season, the following hours will be in effect for Town of St. Marys services:

  • Administrative offices (Town Hall and Municipal Operations Centre)
    • Close Friday, December 24 at 12:00 p.m. and reopen Monday, January 3 at 8:30 a.m.
  • Adult Learning
    • Closed December 24, 27, 28 and 29
    • Open Thursday, December 30, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
