Disruption
The St. Marys Train Station service desk will be temporarily closed on Saturday, May 20 during its regular hours of 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. and 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. due to a staffing shortage. It will reopen for regular hours on Sunday, May 21, 2023.
VIA Rail service will continue to operate during this time and the Station Gallery will be open during the day from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The Town of St. Marys is aiming to improve road and trail safety with its new Traffic and Parking by-law. The by-law was approved by Town Council on May 9, 2023, and will take effect on August 1, 2023.
The new by-law will allow the use of off-road vehicles on local streets between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. Those who choose to drive off-road vehicles on the street will be subject to regulations outlined in the Highway Traffic Act. The Town of St. Marys is making it easier to find local amenities with the installation of 70 new directional signs. It’s all part of the municipality’s Signage and Wayfinding Strategy, a multi-year project led by its Tourism and Economic Development department.
