More information regarding Section 2.8 of Town By-law 58-2018, Parking, Traffic and Boulevard Maintenance, can be found at townofstmarys.com/59-2018.

Residents are also reminded to adhere to all laws of the Motorized Snow Vehicles Act:

  • Exceeding a speed of 20 km/hr (or on a highway where the speed limit established is pursuant to the Highway Traffic Act, is 50 km/hr or less): $110 Fine
  • Failing to wear a proper helmet: $110 Fine
  • Driving across a highway with no licence: $110 Fine
  • Failing to display a registration number: $110 Fine
  • Driving an uninsured vehicle: $240 Fine

As per Section 2.7 of Town By-law 58-2018, all-terrain vehicles are NOT permitted on public roads and road allowances. They are permitted only on private property at the consent of the property owner.
