First of three planned presentations on September 21

St. Marys Station Studios and Gallery artists, Reed Needles, Cameron Porteous and Charles Sharun, have teamed up with the Friendship Centre to offer a series of presentations on their areas of expertise.

The first of three presentations, A Perspective into Time, will take place on September 21. Reed Needles will introduce guests to his collection of time keeping artifacts such as sundials, water clocks and watches. Cameron Porteous’ presentation on October 19 will discuss illustrations of the historic Battle of Queenston Heights. Finally, on November 16, Charles Sharun will lead a discussion entitled A Portrait of an Artist. The presentation will highlight what he has learned during his pursuit of a career in the visual arts.

All of the presentations will take place at the Friendship Centre at 317 James Street South,
St. Marys. The cost to attend, with dinner included, is $15 per presentation, per person. Without dinner included, the fee is $5 or $2 for Friendship Centre members. The optional dinner will be served at 5:00 p.m., with the presentation to follow at 6:00 p.m.
