Two iconic structures in downtown St. Marys will soon be getting a facelift. On Friday, December 7, 2018, the Town will begin the process of replacing the windows in the St. Marys Public Library and Town Hall. The project is expected to take two weeks.

The work will get underway at the library on December 7; the facility is scheduled to be closed that day for staff training. A number of parking stalls in front of the library will also be inaccessible as of December 7 and will remain unavailable throughout the duration of the project.

The library will re-open for normal operations after December 7, but some sections and entrances may be closed temporarily while the work continues. Town Hall may also experience intermittent closures to ensure the safety of staff and patrons while the project is being completed.

Residents and library users are encouraged to watch the Town of St. Marys’ website (townofstmarys.com) and social media accounts (facebook.com/stmarysontario and twitter.com/townofstmarys) for ongoing updates about the window replacement project.

Questions about the project can be directed to Ray Cousineau, Facilities Supervisor at 519-284-2340, ext. 637 or rcousineau@town.stmarys.on.ca.
