Queen Street between Peel Street and Thomas Street to be paved August 17

To accommodate Emergency Medical Services and ensure pavement quality, the Town of St. Marys will be paving Queen Street between Peel Street and Thomas Street in one day on Wednesday, August 17. Weather permitting, work is scheduled to begin at 4:00 a.m. and estimated to be complete by 6:00 p.m.

As during earlier phases of construction, there will be no parking on Queen Street in order to accommodate traffic flow. Crews will begin paving the north lanes, with two-way traffic allowed on the south lanes. Once complete, they will flip to the south lanes, with two-way traffic allowed on the north lanes.
