The Town of St. Marys is proud to announce Connie Douglas as the recipient of the prestigious Ontario Senior of the Year Award for 2025 for the Town of St. Marys. This honour recognizes multiple individuals in municipalities across Ontario who have made significant contributions to enriching the social, cultural, and civic life of their communities.
Connie Douglas has exemplified the spirit of community service through her tireless dedication to volunteerism and her impactful involvement in various local organizations. Her contributions have been instrumental in fostering the vitality and vibrancy of St. Marys.
Over the years, Connie has actively supported numerous organizations, including the Salvation Army, Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame, St. Marys Healthcare Foundation, the Friendship Centre, and the St. Marys Legion. Her steadfast commitment and welcoming personality have left a lasting impression on all who have worked alongside her, showcasing her unwavering dedication to making St. Marys a better place for everyone.

The call for 2026 Ontario Senior of the Year award nominations will begin in June 2026. An announcement will be made when nominations open through social media, and the Town website (www.townofstmarys.com).
