Melodies at the Museum returns to the Cadzow Park outdoor stage

After a two-year hiatus, the Melodies at the Museum concert series is returning to the Cadzow Park outdoor stage. Concerts will take place every Wednesday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. beginning August 3, with the final performance scheduled for August 24. From jazz to indie-folk, Melodies at the Museum has something for every musical taste.

Admission will be by donation, with all proceeds benefiting the St. Marys Museum.

In the case of inclement weather, concerts will be moved from the Cadzow Park stage to the Town Hall auditorium (175 Queen Street East).

August 3 – The Shananigans

Always energetic and entertaining, the Shananigans are a family-friendly, crowd-pleasing Canadian East Coast band with a sound for all ages.

August 10 – Tim Smythe and Phil Ruthig from The Finally Hip

Tim Smythe and Phil Ruthig, from The Tragically Hip cover band “The Finally Hip”, will share a toe-tapping acoustic set brimming with Canadian summertime nostalgia.

August 17 – York Street Thought Process

Comprised of Jaron Camp and Rachael Frankruyter, this duo specializes in a playful mixture of indie-folk and improvisation. Enjoy a variety of original music and classic covers. Their debut album will be released August 2022.

August 24 - Jazzm@x

This group of seven musicians plays everything from jazz standards to bossa nova to funk. Enjoy the talents of Carol Shaw on tenor sax, Wade Whittaker on bass, and the “Four Irvines”: Dan on drums, Barb on keyboards, Darcy on alto sax/flute, and Judy Irvine on trumpet.
