Local business owner and registered yoga teacher Allie Mills is bringing yoga for toddlers and preteens to the Pyramid Recreation Centre. Mills is the owner of Forever Growing Children's Fashions, which buys and sells gently worn children’s clothing. Currently finishing her prenatal and doula certification, she is passionate about the benefits yoga can have for young children.

“I love teaching kids yoga because children are so enthusiastic,” Mills says, “I think it's a really great tool for kids to learn for fitness and self-regulation and to have fun!”

Classes will begin on Monday, November 4 and run for six weeks with ages two to four meeting in the morning from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m. and ages five to eight meeting in the afternoon from 4:30 to 5:00 p.m.

The cost of all six weeks is $65. Guardian participation is required for toddlers. Those interested should pre-register at Pyramid Recreation Centre Guest Services or 519-284-2160.
