The public is invited to join Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), St Marys Fire Department and Perth County Paramedic Services on Saturday, February 18, 2017 at the Pyramid Recreation Centre at 317 James Street South in St. Marys for activities in support of “The Push for Change” in partnership with Victim Services Bruce Grey Perth.

“The Push for Change” began in May 2016 when Joe Roberts - a former street youth turned successful entrepreneur - started pushing a shopping cart 9,000 km across Canada as part of a national awareness campaign to help end youth homelessness.

An “Educational Awareness Sleepout Challenge” will take place between 12:00 and 4:00 p.m. Free hotdogs and refreshments will be provided. There will also be a free family skate between 2:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m., followed by a “Guns vs. Hoses” hockey game between members of the Perth County OPP and the St. Marys Fire Department.

Admission will be by donation, with proceeds benefitting The Push for Change Foundation.
