A pilot project that brought GO train service to St. Marys came to an end this past Friday, October 13, 2023.

The project was launched in 2021 and provided weekday GO train service between London and Toronto, with stops in St. Marys, Stratford, and other locations. The project was operating on a two-year trial basis and has been discontinued by Metrolinx, GO’s parent company.

VIA Rail service will continue to operate in St. Marys, despite changes to GO. Passengers are encouraged to purchase VIA rail tickets online (www.viarail.ca) or by phone (1-888-842-7245).

A self-service computer is available at the train station for purchasing tickets online with a credit card; cash and gift cards are not accepted. A customer service attendant is on site to help passengers print tickets seven days a week from 10:15 to 11:15 a.m. and 8:00 to 9:00 p.m.
