Celebrate Grandparents’ Day: A Morning of Fun and Connection!

The Friendship Centre, in collaboration with St. Marys Early ON, will host an intergenerational Grandparents’ Day celebration on Tuesday, September 2, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

This event is designed to bring people of all ages together for a joyful morning, fostering community spirit through shared activities and laughter. Featured activities will include face painting, story time, crafts, snacks and a mini magic show.

"We're thrilled to bring together different generations for a morning of fun and connection," says Senior Services Supervisor, Jenny Mikita. "Events like this help strengthen our community bonds and create lasting memories for everyone involved."

“We chose to hold this event on a PA Day right before the school year starts, so everyone can enjoy one last special morning together before summer ends,” says EarlyON Coordinator, Jessica Kurtz. “We hope to see you there!”
