Museum Memberships

Would you like to support the preservation of artifacts, photographs and documents relating to the history of our community? The Friends of the St. Marys Museum offers ways to help with this work!

The Friends of the Museum

The Friends of the Museum is a group that supports the St. Marys Museum and promotes its activities in the community. There are quarterly meetings to discuss activities and new ideas. Everyone who buys a membership is welcome to attend these meetings.

An Annual General Meeting is held each year in March. All members receive notice of this meeting and are entitled to propose motions and to vote. Directors are elected at the AGM and an executive is formed from the directors.

Members are entitled to discounts for some special events, such as the annual seminar series. Members receive quarterly newsletters by regular mail or email.

The Friends group sponsors fundraising activities such as the Museum's gift shop and various special events. All funds raised are used to support the activities of the St. Marys Museum.

Additional donations are gratefully accepted and charitable receipts will be provided. Online donations can be made to the Friends of the St. Marys Museum through the Canada Helps website.

Memberships: $15.

Complete the online Membership Form. Payments must be made in person after the form is completed and submitted.
