Aquatics Centre currently closed for renovations
The Aquatics Centre has been closed to the public since November 2024, to accommodate renovations to the space that would address safety concerns caused by saltwater and high humidity. These renovations were deemed essential to ensure the facility could be used safely and effectively by the community. Due to unexpected recently discovered structural issues caused by saltwater and high humidity stemming from insufficiently sized HVAC equipment installed during the original construction, the renovation work is now expected to extend closure until fall 2025.
Project updates and a reopening date, once confirmed, will be provided through local media, the Town website (www.townofstmarys.com), Facebook (www.facebook.com/stmarysontario) and Twitter/X (www.twitter.com/townofstmarys).

Be sure to check out our Facebook and Instagram pages (@townofstmarysearlyon) for any changes to program locations or any cancellations due to inclement weather or extreme heat.
Important Information:
With the start of outdoor programming, all morning program times, with the exception of Play & Read, will be adjusted to 9:00 - 11:00 am.
Everyone attending EarlyON programs must now be registered through KEyON, a digital sign in application. Each adult attending programs will need to make their own account; children can be shared between accounts.
After creating an account online, you will be given a key fob that will be scanned each time you attend a program. This will help us track attendance and determine the best kind of programming for our community. You can also use your online account to view calendars from all EarlyON programs across Perth County.

Play & Learn (Various locations)
Play and Learn is a play group for families with children aged zero to six years old. We provide a safe and engaging environment for children to learn through play and build connections with other families.
During the summer months, siblings over the age of 6 are welcome to attend our outdoor Play & Learn programs. We try to set up near a playground so that all interests can be met. Please know, however, that our programming will continue to be geared towards ages 0 - 6 years.
Play & Read (at the St. Marys Public Library - Queen Street entrance)
Play & Read is a program for families with children aged 0 to 6 years.
Activities based on favourite stories are presented for you to enjoy together.
*Please use the Queen Street entrance (next to the Tim Hortons) of the St. Marys Public Library.
Baby Time is a group for parents of children aged 0 to 18 months to come together in a safe environment, to support each other, build relationships, take part in adult conversation and enjoy engaging children’s programming.
Join us and the residents of Kingsway Lodge for this enjoyable intergenerational program. The program room is downstairs. Take the elevator to the lower level and the doors will open into the program room. Parking is limited, please consider walking, if possible.
Join for a fun morning of outdoor water play! Feel free to have children wear bathing suits or clothing and footwear that can get wet. Bring a towel to dry off with. Most activities will be based around water play. If weather is not favourable, the program will move to the 1/3 Hall at the Pyramid Recreation Centre. Check social media/KEyON for any location changes.
