Aquatics Centre currently closed for renovations

The Aquatics Centre has been closed to the public since November 2024, to accommodate renovations to the space that would address safety concerns caused by saltwater and high humidity. These renovations were deemed essential to ensure the facility could be used safely and effectively by the community. Due to unexpected recently discovered structural issues caused by saltwater and high humidity stemming from insufficiently sized HVAC equipment installed during the original construction, the renovation work is now expected to extend closure until fall 2025. 

Project updates and a reopening date, once confirmed, will be provided through local media, the Town website (www.townofstmarys.com), Facebook (www.facebook.com/stmarysontario) and Twitter/X (www.twitter.com/townofstmarys).

Splash Pad

The Rotary Cadzow Park Splash Pad was opened on June 28, 2018. The accessible splash pad is divided into two separate sections, with one dedicated to toddlers and the other dedicated to children and teens.

Designed for families with children of all ages to enjoy during the summer months, this facility features various interactive sprays, jets, geysers, fountains, and additional water elements.
