"Right on the button.” Your name engraved on 1 of 24 curling rock handles displayed on the ice, plus: name on campaign plaque and invite to the Grand Opening.
The Button Project
The St. Marys Curling Club has introduced 'The Button Project', an exciting opportunity to support a well-loved community space.
In curling, the button is more than just the centre of the house — it’s the ultimate target. The place everyone is aiming for. The point where focus, finesse, and teamwork all come together. It’s the heart of the sheet — and, symbolically, it’s the heart of the game.
This fundraising project was created to revitalize the Lind Sportsplex Lounge, a central hub for gatherings. Where new members get welcomed, old friends reconnect, and memories are made during bonspiels, team parties, and fundraisers. The lounge has been a reliable space for nearly a decade, but it’s time for a refresh that meets the needs of today’s members and guests.
Planned Upgrades:
- Bar and kitchen combination
- Kitchen upgrades
- Added storage
- Centrepiece fireplace & mantel
