Eligibility to vote
You are eligible to vote in the municipal and school board election in the Town of St. Marys if, on October 26, 2026, you:
- Are a Canadian Citizen
- Are at least 18 years old
- Reside in St. Marys, or be an owner/tenant (or spouse of one) of land in St. Marys
- Are not prohibited from voting

Elections Ontario manages the official voter list. You can confirm, update, or add your information by visiting the Elections Ontario’s Voter Registration application or at RegisterToVoteON.ca, or call 1-866-242-3025.
Confirm/update details regarding your school support
Every property is associated with a school board, and owners or renters can choose which board they support, though the default is English-Public if no selection is made. This designation determines how you appear on the voters list for municipal and school board elections.
To confirm or change your school support, visit the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation (MPAC) website. Changes for the 2026 Municipal Election must be submitted before June 1, 2026.
