Town of St. Marys Seeking Election Officials for 2026 Municipal Election
The Town of St. Marys is recruiting election officials to support the delivery of the 2026 Municipal Election.
Election officials play an important role in ensuring residents can cast their ballots in a welcoming, accessible and efficient voting environment. Successful applicants will work at polling stations during voting days on October 7, 8, 9, 10 and 26, 2026.
The Town is seeking candidates for two election official positions:
Access Election Officer: Access Election Officers support the voting process by welcoming and directing voters, verifying identification, providing assistance and instructions, and helping ensure an accessible voting experience.
Ballot and Revision Election Official: Ballot and Revision Election Officials assist electors, maintain accurate voter records, issue ballots, administer required forms and oaths, and help ensure election procedures are followed correctly.
Interested applicants are encouraged to submit an application online by September 25, 2026. Applicants may be contacted by the municipality for a brief conversation regarding their qualifications and experience.
