Water & Wastewater
The Town of St. Marys is committed to providing safe, clean and reliable drinking water to all the residents and businesses within the Town. The Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA) operates and maintains the Town's water and wastewater systems.
Fall Flushing
The Town of St. Marys will be performing fall water main and hydrant flushing from October 6 – 31, 2025.
Flushing Schedule
- October 6 to 10, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., area north of Trout Creek and east of the Thames River
- October 14 to 17, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., area west of the Thames River
- October 19, 6:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., Queen St. E (downtown core)
- October 20 to 24, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., area south of Trout Creek from the Thames River to James St., including James St. S
- October 24 to 31, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., area south of Trout Creek and east of James St.
Potential Service Disruptions
You may observe some water discolouration during flushing. If you experience discolouration, run cold water until it becomes clear. If your water does not run clear after five minutes, turn off the tap and wait 30 minutes before trying again. You should refrain from doing laundry until any discolouration has cleared.
