Volunteers Wanted for St. Marys Summer Events
The Town of St. Marys is inviting residents and community members to get involved this summer by volunteering at a series of exciting local events. These opportunities offer a fun and rewarding way to give back, meet new people, and help create memorable experiences for the community.
Volunteering with the Town of St. Marys is a great way to contribute to the community while being part of vibrant and enjoyable events. Residents are encouraged to sign up and take part in making this summer a success. Volunteers are essential to the success of these events, and a variety of roles are available to suit different interests and availability.
The St. Marys Triathlon will be held on July 5, with flexible shifts available between 6:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Volunteers will assist with set up and clean up, help direct athletes and spectators, and support water stations. A minimum of 15 volunteers are required.
The Stonetown Heritage Festival is scheduled for July 25, with flexible shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Volunteer roles include set up and clean up support, Kids Zone activities, Vendor Village assistance, and street patrol. A minimum of 15 volunteers are needed.
All volunteers must complete the Town of St. Marys volunteer onboarding process and attend a training session prior to participating.
