"If you're looking for a specific title, there's a good chance we can find it for you," said Sarah Andrews, CEO of the St. Marys Public Library. “Our staff can help residents search the catalogue, place holds, and access materials from libraries across Perth County, giving them access to a much larger collection than what's available on our shelves."

Library staff are available to assist patrons with every step of the process, from searching the online catalogue and placing holds to discovering new authors and resources based on individual interests.

For residents who enjoy keeping up with current events, the library's Reading Room offers access to daily and weekly newspapers and periodicals in a comfortable setting. Library cardholders can also access hundreds of newspapers and magazines digitally, with content available from around the world in a wide range of languages.

The library's digital collection extends beyond reading materials. Cardholders can access genealogy tools, language-learning platforms, consumer information resources, health information databases, and other online services from home or on the go.

The St. Marys Public Library is committed to ensuring that everyone can access library services. Residents who are temporarily or permanently unable to visit the library due to illness, injury, mobility challenges, or transportation barriers may be eligible for home delivery service. Library staff can provide more information about available options and eligibility requirements.
