Stonetown Heritage Festival Almost Here: A Full Day of Community Celebration Awaits
The countdown is on! The 2026 Stonetown Heritage Festival returns to downtown St. Marys on Saturday, July 25, bringing a full day of free family-friendly entertainment, local culture, delicious food, shopping and heritage experiences to the heart of the community. The festival will run from 8 a.m. until late, culminating with an exciting evening of live music and entertainment at Kinsmen Summerfest.
Plus, this year we are offering more opportunities to grab a ride downtown. Shuttles brought to you by the Downtown St. Marys BIA will run from 8AM-4PM on a continuous loop. One will leave from the Pyramid Recreation Centre and the other from the St. Marys Wellness Centre parking lot. Both will drop you off at either Town Hall or the Green Bridge near Milt Dunnell Field.
Residents and visitors alike are invited to experience everything the festival has to offer, from the St. Marys Farmers' Market and Kinsmen breakfast in the morning to live performances, interactive activities, food trucks, shopping and heritage programming throughout the day. Downtown streets will come alive with live entertainment, more than 65 outdoor vendors, family activities, face painting, inflatables, lawn games and free attractions for all ages.
Visitors looking to explore the stories that shaped St. Marys can take part in free heritage walking tours and accessible bus tours, offering unique opportunities to discover the people, places and landmarks that make the community special. Registration is required.
The festival will also feature a free trackless train sponsored by Quadro Communications, a free town shuttle connecting key festival locations, and a magic show by renowned performer Ron Gudel in the Town Hall Auditorium.
As the downtown festivities wind down, the celebration will continue at Milt Dunnell Field as Kinsmen Summerfest takes over with midway attractions, and an evening concert lineup. Please note that tickets are required for Kinsmen Summerfest performances. Those looking for one final adventure can end the evening exploring the town's haunted history during the St. Marys Ghost Walk, presented by Stratford Walking Tours. Tickets are required for the Ghost Walk.
