Fall water flushing scheduled for October 5 - 30, 2026

The Town of St. Marys will be flushing all water mains and hydrants in accordance with the dates, times and locations noted below:

Flushing Schedule:

  • October 5 - 9 | 7AM - 5PM | Area North of Trout Creek and East of the Thames River
  • October 13 - 16 | 7AM - 5PM | Area West of the Thames River
  • October 18 | 6PM - 12AM | Queen St. E (Downtown Core)
  • October 19 - 23 | 7AM - 5PM | Area South of Trout Creek from the Thames River to James Street, including James Street South
  • October 26 - 30 | 7AM - 5PM | Area South of Trout Creek and East of James Street

Potential Service Disruptions:

During the routine flushing program, you may observe some water discolouration. Discoloured water is caused by naturally occurring minerals that can be disturbed during the flushing process. If you experience discolouration, run cold water until it becomes clear. You should refrain from doing laundry until any discolouration has cleared. If your water does not run clear after a five (5) minute period, it is recommended to turn off the tap and wait 30-minutes before trying again.
