Traffic and Noise Impacts

Residents and motorists should be prepared for traffic restrictions and construction activity in the affected areas while work is underway. Residents near Queen Street East shall particularly be aware that paving operations are scheduled to occur overnight. This work is being targeted and scheduled during low peak traffic times to maintain traffic flow through the area, while allowing for optimal results. Driveway access will be limited during construction hours; however, the contractor has been instructed to maintain one lane of travel for local traffic. Due to the nature of this work, there will be an increase in noise during working hours. The Town appreciates your understanding as we complete this project.

Please use caution when travelling through construction areas and follow all posted traffic-control signage and directions from construction personnel.

The Town appreciates the patience and cooperation of residents, businesses and motorists while this work is completed.
