A Free St. Marys Public Library Card Opens a World of Possibilities
The St. Marys Public Library is inviting residents to begin their library journey with one simple step: getting a free library card.
A library card is more than access to books. It is a gateway to learning, entertainment, technology, digital resources, programs, and community connections. Library membership is free for residents of St. Marys and Perth South with proof of address, and residents of Huron, Middlesex, and Oxford counties may also be eligible for a card through reciprocal lending agreements.
“Whether you are a lifelong resident or have just moved to town, a library card helps connect you to the many services and opportunities available through the St. Marys Public Library,” said Sarah Andrews, CEO of the St. Marys Public Library.
Getting a card is easy. Residents can visit the library with proof of address, such as a driver's licence or utility bill, to register for membership. The library offers access to physical collections, digital resources, programs and events, makerspace services, learning opportunities, and unique items through its Library Plus collection.
New to St. Marys? Stop by the library to pick up a welcome kit and discover how the library can help you connect with local services, resources, and community life.
Residents are also encouraged to stay connected by visiting the library website and following the St. Marys Public Library on Facebook and Instagram for the latest news, programs, and events.
