Town of St. Marys holiday hours 2025

The following hours will be in effect for Town of St. Marys services for the 2025 holiday season:

Administrative offices (Town Hall and Municipal Operations Centre)

• Closed as of December 24 at 12:00 p.m. to January 5 at 8:30 a.m.

Adult Learning

• Closed as of December 19 at 4:30 p.m. to January 5 at 9:30 a.m.

Child Care Centre & Before and After School Programs

• Child Care Centre closed as of December 24 at 11:30 a.m. to January 5 at 7:00 a.m.
• Before and After School program closed as of December 19 at 5:30 p.m. to January 5 at 7:00 a.m.
• Winter Break Camp running December 22 and 23 from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Community Outreach

• Closed as of December 24 at 12:00 p.m. to January 5 at 8:30 a.m.

• For emergent needs, contact Stratford Police Service at 911

EarlyON Centre

• Closed as of December 24 at 10:30 a.m. to January 5 at 8:00 a.m.

Friendship Centre/Senior Services

• Closed as of December 23 at 4:30 p.m. to January 5 at 8:30 a.m.
• For in-home support throughout the holiday season, please contact the Friendship Centre at 519-284-3272 prior to December 23.

Landfill

• Closed on the following regular days of operation (Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday):
• December 24 at 12:00 p.m.
• December 25 and 26
• December 31 at 12:00 p.m.
• January 1

Library

• Open December 24, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., December 29-30, 10:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and December 31, 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
• Closed December 25 to 28 and January 1
• Open January 2, 10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and January 3, 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Museum and Archives

• Closed as of December 24 at 12:00 p.m. to January 5 at 9:00 a.m.

Mobility Services

The Mobility Services and EasyRide offices will be closed from December 23 at 4:00 p.m. to January 5. Staff will be available to respond to inquiries at 519-284-4010 during this time.

Transportation Services can be offered for prearranged bookings from December 22 to January 5. Please call 519-284-4010 to reserve your spot. Rides must be booked by December 18 at 4:00 p.m. 

Pyramid Recreation Centre

• Arena and rooms closed December 24 at 3:00 p.m. to end of day December 26; reopening December 27, 2025, at 6:30 am.
• Arena and rooms closed December 31 at 3:00 p.m. to end of day January 1, 2026; reopening January 02, 2026 at 6:30 am.
• Running a Holiday Break Day Camp December 22, 23, 29 and 30, 2025 as well as January 2, 2026. Program hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (pre-register: www.townofstmarys.com/activenet)

 Service Ontario

• Closed as of December 24 at 12:00 p.m. to January 5 at 8:30 a.m.

Train Station

• No change to station hours
• Visit www.viarail.ca for train scheduling

Youth Centre

• Closed as of December 20 at 6:30 p.m.
• Reopening on Monday, January 5 at 3:30 p.m.

Waste and Recycling collection

• Running as scheduled throughout the holiday season
