St. Marys Lincolns Advance to Western Conference Finals: Time to Win the Championship!
The Town of St. Marys is excitedly gearing up as the St. Marys Lincolns hockey team prepares to face off against the Stratford Warriors in a thrilling showdown for the Western Conference Championship. With the community rallying behind the hometown heroes throughout two intense rounds of playoffs, anticipation is at an all-time high as the Lincolns enter this final round of the series. It’s time for fans to unite, bring unbeatable energy, and cheer the Lincolns on to victory!
To celebrate the friendly competition, Mayor Al Strathdee has challenged Mayor Martin Ritsma from The City of Stratford to a jersey bet. The loser of the championship finals will have to wear the winning team's jersey at a council meeting following the conclusion of the championship.
“It’s been wonderful to see the Town unite in support of the St. Marys Lincolns,” says Mayor, Al Strathdee. “I’m excited for some spirited rivalry and hope to see Mayor Ritsma sporting a Lincolns jersey very soon.”
The action kicks off Saturday, April 11 at the Pyramid Recreation Centre, where the puck drops at 7:30 p.m. Don’t miss the excitement as the Lincolns battle for victory. Be sure to secure your spot as seats will fill fast. Pre-sale tickets for Game One will be available at the Pyramid Recreation Centre on Saturday, April 11, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Bring your energy and join the roar of the crowd!
The schedule for the finals will proceed as follows:
- Game Two: Sunday, April 12 starting at 4:30 p.m. at William Allman Memorial Arena
- Game Three: Tuesday, April 14 starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Pyramid Recreation Center
- Game Four: Wednesday, April 15 starting at 6:00 p.m. at William Allman Memorial Arena
- Game Five: Friday, April 17 starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Pyramid Recreation Center (if necessary)
- Game Six: Sunday, April 19 starting at 4:30 p.m. at William Allman Memorial Arena (if necessary)
- Game Seven: Tuesday, April 21 starting at 7:30 p.m. at the Pyramid Recreation Center (if necessary)
