Aquatics Centre currently closed for renovations

The Aquatics Centre has been closed to the public since November 2024 to accommodate renovations to the space that would address safety concerns caused by saltwater and high humidity. These renovations were deemed essential to ensure the facility could be used safely and effectively by the community. Due to unexpected recently discovered structural issues caused by saltwater and high humidity stemming from insufficiently sized HVAC equipment installed during the original construction, the renovation work is now expected to extend closure until fall 2025. 

Project updates and a reopening date, once confirmed, will be provided through local media, the Town website (www.townofstmarys.com), Facebook (www.facebook.com/stmarysontario) and Twitter/X (www.twitter.com/townofstmarys).

NOTICE: Town-wide Catch Basin Clean Up

The Town of St. Marys will be cleaning all catch basins throughout town in preparation for the upcoming snow and winter months. This work will begin on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and will last approximately 2 weeks. This may cause traffic delays as the large vehicles complete maintenance. Thank you for your understanding.
