Scrapbooking Garage Sale on Saturday, September 12, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Community Invited to Annual Scrapbooking Garage Sale and Bake Sale Fundraiser

Scrapbooking enthusiasts and bargain hunters alike are invited to attend the Scrapbooking Garage Sale on Saturday, September 12, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Pyramid Recreation Centre (317 James St. S., Entrance C).

Organized by dedicated volunteers from the St. Marys Friendship Centre, the event features a wide selection of gently used and new crafting supplies available for purchase, including paper, stamps, handmade greeting cards, embellishments, cartridges and more.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome. While there is no cost to attend, donations of gently used books, puzzles, CDs and DVDs for the Friends of the Library (FOL) Book Sale are appreciated. Please note that this is a cash-only event.

“This event is a wonderful example of community members coming together to share their passion for crafting while supporting local seniors,” says Sarah Jones, Senior Services Program Coordinator. “Whether you're an experienced scrapbooker or simply looking for creative inspiration, your support helps fund programs and services that make a meaningful difference in the lives of older adults in our community.”

Visitors are encouraged to stop by the volunteer-run Scrapbooking and Bake Sale tables. All proceeds from these tables are returned directly to St. Marys Senior Services to support programs and services for local seniors. Community members interested in donating baked goods for the sale are encouraged to get in touch.

After stocking up on supplies, attendees may also be interested in learning more about the Friendship Centre’s monthly Scrapbooking Crops and upcoming classes.

Those with gently used or new scrapbooking and card-making supplies they no longer need are encouraged to consider donating them to the Scrapbooking Garage Sale.
