A visit to the newly renovated and expanded Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will open your eyes to Canada's rich baseball history. There are hundreds of artifacts professionally displayed in the museum, including Fergie Jenkins and Larry Walker memorabilia, artifacts from Canada's two major league franchises (the Toronto Blue Jays and the Montreal Expos), a Babe Ruth collection, a large display on current MLB Canadians and a tribute to the Canadian women who played in the All-American Girls Professional Baseball League. The expanded space also includes a visitors' lounge overlooking the baseball field with original pieces of baseball artwork on display and a new library research area allows for researchers and scholars to further their studies into baseball's vast history.
Also on site are four impressive ball fields: St. Marys Cement Company Field, Rotary Field, King Field and 3rd Field. All these fields were constructed between 1998 and 2014. With over 950 events on site each year, including Major League Baseball tryout camps and World Junior Championship exhibition games, the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum is extremely busy.
Visit the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame's website for more information, including hours of operation, directions and admission fees.
