Come and make a Stonetown Splash in our indoor salt water pool!

The new salt water pool boasts a lane area consisting of 4 lanes at 25 metres in length with a deep end and shallow end and an attached leisure pool with wide teaching steps perfect for getting used to the water.  There is also ramp access into both the lane pool and leisure pool.  The shallow end of the leisure area is 1.01 meters and the deep end is 2.40 metres.

The new aquatics centre includes an on-deck sauna, spa and male, female, family and accessible change rooms. The endzone upstairs is not to be used as a viewing area, it is considered a rental space as per council direction. You can watch the pool from the second floor looking out on the pool. The aquatics centre is complimented by an outdoor children’s splash pad with fun water features, designed to reflect St. Marys’ heritage and landscaped park-land.  This will be a fantastic place to cool off with the kids on a hot summer day.

Programs and Activities

We offer an excellent variety of pool programs from Red Cross Starfish to advanced Aquatic courses, lane swimming, a competitive swim club, masters, deep/shallow end aqua fitness and private rentals.  Our lifeguard team is made up of dynamic individuals qualified with their National Lifeguard Service, Water Safety Instructors, and Standard First Aid/CPR & AED.

Full of energy and activity, the new Aquatics Centre at the Pyramid Recreation Centre will be a great place for people of all ages and abilities to come and learn, exercise, compete or just to relax.  There is something for everyone.  So come out and splash your way to a healthier lifestyle!  This is a place to be proud of.
